P2P.ie Review: A nicely bred daughter of Westerner who has shown likeable improvement with each and every outing. Having fallen on debut she was given a confidence booster at Moig South before showing herself most capable at Monksgrange when third to Dime Store Cowgirl and beaten just over two lengths. The runner-up in that contest has won since confirming it to be a very smart maiden on a top course. Furthermore, betting patterns show that this mare clearly works well at home as there was plenty of support for her on her most recent outings. This mare then went to Loughanmore where she was a most impressive twelve lengths victor. Having seen a steady early pace in this race she needed to show a lot of speed in the second half of the race, and this is where she completely outclassed her rivals suggesting she can drop right back in trip and remain a very potent force.

Near Dark is stepping up her work at home. We will continue to school her over jumps while maintaining fitness on the gallops.
Near Dark is on the walkers and gallops daily. It will be another 3-4 weeks before she will be race ready. We will continue with her routine and slowly step up her work to maintain fitness. When given the go ahead, we will look at entries for her.
Near Dark has settled well at Michael’s yard. She done a piece alongside L’Allier today and the team were happy. It should not be long before we can look at entries for her.

Near Dark schooled superbly this week and we have some races in mind for October. It will be great to see her on the racecourse.
Near Dark is getting closer to her first run for the Club, she is improving all the time and we will start to look at entries for her soon, she continues to do 4 times up the gallops with ease now, so her fitness is almost there.
Near Dark looked really well on the gallops this week. She is improving daily with her fitness and she shouldn’t be too far from having her first run for the club.

Near Dark is building up nicely, she is doing plenty of work in bungees or draw reins to keep her using herself properly and working the muscles through her back and hindquarters.
Near Dark is still doing allot of hill work and hacking, along with the walkers, she will be on the gallops shortly and the aim is to have her ready for a race late summer.
Near Dark is enjoying her hacking, we are taking it steady with increasing her workload as she had a decent amount of time off. There will be a further update for Shareholders once she is being entered for races.
