Etoile Brillante future is uncertain, she struggled with her wind at Newton Abbot, and I am torn on what to do for the best interest in her, she may well be retired and stand as a broodmare.  

A slight delay for Etoile Brillante as discussions are still being had on what would be the best decision for her future.  

Etoile Brillante did a piece of work on Saturday and has an entry next week for Newton Abbot.  

Etoile Brillante has been back on the gallops. She has a handicap mark of 71 so we can now aim her at handicap hurdles.  

Etoile Brillante has reopened the cut on her hind leg at Worcester, we have bandaged it up and will keep it wrapped to make sure it stays clean and dry.  

Etoile Brillante’s is now starting back with her normal routine. We will be looking at races for her shortly as she still needs another run. She is improving all the time.  

Etoile Brillante has come out of her race well, she jumped much better on her second run, she just needs one more run under her belt to gain her opening mark. She will be one day an out and out staying chaser.  

Etoile Brillante has been back on the gallops and has also schooled very well over hurdles, she needs to gain her handicap so we can then go chasing with her.  

Etoile Brillante schooled again this week under Conor Ring, jumping well and improving again. She also did a good piece of work on Wednesday morning. I have entered her for Newton Abbot on the 31st.  

Etoile Brillante has schooled a few times this week and has been going over some smaller jumps in the menage. Bryan Carver schooled her over the hurdles on the round gallop on Wednesday morning and was happy with her.  

Etoile Brillante is continuing to progress in her fitness, I am looking forward to a summer campaign with her, she has been back on the gallops and seems to be enjoying back in a daily work routine. We will be heading straight for hurdles with her and target the mare’s maiden races.

Etoile Brillante has had her shoes back on and will start hacking out, she needed her wind operation, and this will improve her running when she gets back on the racetrack, she has grown and is now looking all over a chaser.

Etoile Brillante is back in the yard after her wind operation. The operation went well and excited to get her back into work when she is ready.    

Etoile Brillante has gone with Blitz Spirit to Three Counties for a wind operation, we will start her back in full work when she is recovered and back home.    

Etoile Brillante schooled over the hurdles on the grass and jumped well, following Rock of Star, and then schooling on her own. I am pleased with how her confidence over the hurdles is improving, her next run will be over hurdles.    

Etoile Brillante has been doing lots of schooling this week, she is jumping well. I have backed off her slightly as she is now fit, and I don’t want to let her get overly light, she is pencilled in for Newton Abbot this month.    

Etoile Brillante impressed me in her work this week, she has really progressed. We have also done some pole work with her, and she jumped well. I have pencilled her in for the bumper at Newton Abbot on the 15th of October    

Etoile Brillante is looking well. She has done a couple of pieces of work now and is pleasing me. we will look to run her in a couple of bumpers to gain more experience before hurdling.      

Etoile Brillante is looking well; she is continuing to progress nicely in her fitness. We have been schooling her over poles which she has enjoyed, we should be looking shortly at her next run    

Etoile Brillante is cantering three times up the gallops regularly now and is taking to it well. She is looking super, it won’t be long before she is ready to run again, we will keep her in the bumper races for now  

Etoile Brillante has progressed to cantering twice up the gallop most days now, she looks super, we will look for another couple of bumper runs with her  

Etoile Brillante is back in training after her short break in the fields, she is out hacking every day and will soon be back on the gallops, we will aim her at a couple more bumper runs. (Etoile Brillante on the left in the picture) 

Etoile Brillante looks well out in the field. She’s improving for the break and enjoying the spring grass. The plan is to have her back in training by June, to run in some late Summer and Autumn bumpers, she will come on leaps and bounds from her last run.

Etoile Brillante has worked well this week, I am pleased with her. Entries for Chepstow close this Friday, she is also penciled in for Newton Abbot and Taunton. I am keen to run her at Chepstow.

Etoile Brillante is pleasing me in her work at home, she went well upsides Thahab Ifraj doing a solid half speed the whole way to the top of the gallop, she may well be ready for a bumper run very shortly.

Etoile Brillante is improving. She is now working well upsides with other horses. We are getting her out in the field when the weather allows, she is improving constantly and mixing up with some stronger pieces of work.

Etoile Brillante is a young filly and as yet to see a racecourse, she is improving every day and her work ethic is tremendous, so far she has done all that has been asked of her without pushing her too hard, Remember as a stores horse purchase she had never been sat on, so her…

Etoile Brillante is cantering away at home, she is cantering twice every day along with our other 3-year-olds. I am pleased with her; she has strengthened up as the weeks go by.

Etoile Brillante has had her 2nd herpes vaccination. I gave her a quiet couple of days after this, as sometimes it can knock them slightly, she has been quite fresh recently!! It is great to see her feeling so well in herself. She has been out hacking and is cantering twice up the gallop.

Etoile Brillante is becoming less spooky and more confident. She is eating up well and the higher protein race nuts have made a difference. She is strengthening up nicely.
