Apache Canyon is a 3-year-old bay gelding by the up and coming sire Kessaar a high class juvenile, duel 6f Group winner, inc G2 Mill Reef Stakes and G3 Sirenia Stakes, she is out of Polish Empress.

Kessaar has already sired two black type and has a 40%-win ratio to date.

Apache Canyon was purchased from the breeze up sales and has grown to be forward in his work and showing potential against highly rate horses. He has proven to be competitive with a great win at Southwell. He is a young horse who is still early on his racing career.

Apache Canyon – Trainer update

Apache Canyon is okay after his race on Thursday. He will have an easy few days as it was a difficult race and he always takes a few days to come back from a raceday. He will continue to improve and will be back in training shortly.

Apache Canyon is always slightly tired a couple of days following his races so he has had an easy few days. He has progressed well in his previous runs with only being a 3 year old. He ran above his mark at Wolverhampton and finished strongly. We will look for races again in 2-3 weeks…

Apache Canyon has come out of his race well. Everyone was pleased with his first run. We have been focusing on him doing pieces of work on his own rather than other horses to build confidence which will benefit him when going racing. He has an entry for Thursday 15th August.
