Affwonn is now a 4-year-old bay gelding by the sire Free Eagle, smart over 1m as a 2-year-old, top-class over 10-12f winner at 3-4, including the Prince of Wales’s Stakes Group 1 at Royal Ascot, top family.
We recently purchased Affwonn from the sales and cannot believe we managed to secure such a powerful type, he has only run the once going off a hot favorite and truly bolted up under hands and heels riding. He simply could be anything. The second and third in the race have since franked the form.
To have the opportunity to be part of this exciting horse at an incredibly early stage must be a thrill for all racing enthusiasts.
